Does the amount of fuel have an impact on Tyre pressure. Silly question but Ive been listening to the warning light for the last week or so about Tyre Pressure being low, tbf they were sitting around 26/27 PSI when they should be around 30/31.

Was going to get them sorted soon and noticed they are all back up to 30/31 again, I was running low fuel for a while and topped up the other day, but can't imagine that has an affect, although its the only think I've done.

Or is it just the sensors messing about. I have 0 knowledge on cars and just baffled. Maybe someone could shed some insight

Cheers.

low Tyre pressure can affect the amount of fuel you use, (use more)

a full or empty tank of fuel will not make a difference to your psi as that is based on the air inside the tyres...

so if they are lower than the recommended front and back psi levels, put air in them!

No Tire pressure changes with weather so it being cold then warm will change how much pressure will be in the tire.

The weight of a full tank of fuel will change the pressure, however you're talking about a fraction of PSI.

As said the weather is more likely the cause. If you fill your tires up when it's a nice warm 75* then it drops to below 30*, the air is more dense and therefore looses mass and you will see that in the form of lost tire pressure. Now when you start driving and the tires heat up with the friction from driving, you will notice your PSI increase.

^ 002 is spot on. If a car in parked (ex. overnight) temperatures will drop and it will have a lower tire pressure. Every 10 *F temperature drop will lower the Psi ~1-2 .
When you drive the car the tires heat up and therefore have a higher pressure.
Sounds like you are low on pressure still. Fill them up to 32-34PSI. Cheers
