Next generation of consoles will be out, probably, by 2020, if not this year. I'd say wait and see, especially if you have a regular xbox one already.

I have an xbox one X being sent to me as of now, I won it but if its gonna be an upgrade from the trash shitty Standard xbox one I have now then its worth it

Only if you have the monitor, main reason i got a one x is because i got a huge discount, plus i like the 1tb of space it comes with.

I do notice the loading times compared to the VCR xbox one, but if you got the one already, no need to upgrade, unless you really want the space.

I have the original Xbox one An would like to just be updated no what I mean but it's hard haah the consoles here in Aus aren't cheap
