002 wrote Got rid of this gigantic heaping pile of today. Went with an MBRP "competition pipe" and an SCT GTX tuner with Tyrant tunes from No Limit Fabrication. The truck runs SO much better, doesn't need that stupid exhaust fluid and sounds like a truck lol. Damn, a whole hunk of crap gone. Good decision and glad it runs a ton better. If anything, weight reduction lol |

Yeah she's finally got power lol. My 06 F-250 is faster than this 6.7 is stock but now since it's deleted and tuned this thing has a TON of power! Usually I try to go with the fastest most obnoxious tune but I only have this truck on street tune. There's still 2 levels higher than this but I decided this is all I need lol.
I also finally put the light bar in the bumper today. I don't like wiring and putting this in was a huge PITA which is why I postponed it for so long. It's still not wired in but it looks like it does something lol. https://i.imgur.com/IQhSHUp.jpg |

Dude, that thing is tuff...
I think when I'm older and done with loud exhaust v4's, trucks will be the move. |

I have a 2017 F-150... Not much of a fan of the 350s. What was your purpose of buying it? Do you haul a lot or you are just one of those guys that likes big trucks? |

Donald_Trump wrote I have a 2017 F-150... Not much of a fan of the 350s. What was your purpose of buying it? Do you haul a lot or you are just one of those guys that likes big trucks? I have a 2006 F-250 as well, the purpose for buying that was at the time I had a little Fusion, injured my leg and couldn't drive it so I needed something taller. I've always been a truck guy, I had an F-150 and F-350 prior to that car but I was looking at getting a new F-150. Long story short I've always wanted a diesel and a King Ranch and the 06 KR was on the lot I was looking at the new Chevy 1500 and I ended up buying that lol. This truck is a little different, I actually wasn't even planning on buying it or a new vehicle period. This was on Craigslist for dumb cheap as it had a dent in the bed and bumper so she took off the cost of repairs from KBB value. I fixed the dent in the bed with a 2x4 and I got a new bumper so I now have this truck for a little over $10k less than the actual value lol. As someone who drives a lot of half ton trucks and 3/4 ton / 1 tons, I prefer the bigger trucks. The half tons drive like a car, and the parts are so small that they break a lot. If you look at the suspension of your F-150 you have a tiny little axle that's 5/8" thick, and 2 control arms that hold your tire on. I have a full solid axle lol. Not to mention these diesel trucks are more capable and they are pretty good on fuel. Driving around the city my trip meter says I'm getting 18.2 MPG (my city though is 7 stop lights in 14 miles with the speed being 45 MPH). To me if I was buying new I would go with an F-150 simply because I can't afford the newer diesels. If I'm buying used then it's diesel all day. Anyway, that was the long way of saying I just enjoy the bigger truck lol. I'm a carpenter by trade so while I do haul a little, 99.99% of my material is delivered so in reality all I need is a Toyota Prius. |

I Would Highly recommend doing the DPF Delete and just straight it instead of having to constantly clean the DPF |
