Not sure what that motherboard is then, looked like it might have been some sort of MSI OEM board from a pre-built. Doesn't really matter though.

Just means that the GPU probably isn't the issue since it's apparently not what's stopping you from getting any display. I wouldn't think it's the PSU if your system is powering on. If the PSU is dead, it can still provide power to mobo LEDs and what not, but it's not usually going to allow the system to boot. I think motherboard is more likely the issue, but not 100%. Don't suppose you have any friends with Haswell generation CPU systems? If not, you might want to try find a used H81 chipset motherboard(in working condition of course) and try that.

No, like I said, I'm not 100% sure but if your system is getting power and is turning on, then the PSU likely isn't the issue. Since we already think the GPU is fine, that really just leaves mobo and CPU. You should be able to find a used LGA1150 motherboard for under $30 pretty easily if you don't have a friend who could help out.
