Does anyone have experience shipping packages internationally? And dealing with undelivered packages?
I was sending letters to a friend in Poland and they were taking about 2 weeks to be delivered. So then I sent a small package in early December for Christmas, and they said it would take approximately 8-10 days. I sent it through the US Post Office. As of today, probably just over a month, It has not yet been delivered. I checked with my Post Office and they said they only track is as far as the plane that takes it out of the country. And they confirmed that it made it to that point. So is there anything else I could do to find my package? Or should I just wait longer and hope it shows up eventually? |

Could likely be tied up with customs, depending on how they've routed your package, I've had that happen before when shipping t-shirts from here. Your carrier is the best bet on tracking it down, part from your friend actually receiving it. You may file an indemnity claim for insured mail, COD items, Registered Mail with postal insurance, or Priority Mail Express packages with USPS via their claims page: usps.com/help/claims.htm
If it was uninsured, you may also request a lost mail search through the same page I sent above. |
