Does anyone know what batman V13 won't work for me but works for my friend watching the exact same videos?

Honestly I'm using the same as my friend and we can watch the videos at the same time! He will get the infection and I will end up with a normal custom game lobby. I gave up and even tried the zombies infection mod menu and guess what! NOTHING!
