I ain't posting this for people to feel bad for me, I WANT YALL AWARE IF A HURRICANE HAS POTENTIAL TO COME NEAR AND STRENGTHEN PLEASE LEAVE.

These Pictures & Videoss Are Just The Tip Of What Michael Did.

Well, Since I survived it and not many of you can actually hear from people who went through these deadly storms, I'll talk about it. I stay in Panama City, Florida, I got the eye, which means you get both sides of eye wall, which is terrible. I stayed for it obviously, had over 12 people in my house. We all went out during the eye, the sound of the wind during the hurricane was like a dog growling. Scariest shit I've ever encountered. We had our door open watching extremely tall trees getting snapped in half like pencils. After the storm we couldn't even leave our house cause the roads were so full of debris. It was so bad we had COPS, riding around on bikes. Businesses gone, BRICK houses crumbled, The things you see on the news and movies like "Twister" are real y'all. It didn't really hit hard until the moment we all had to leave town after the storm cause our houses weren't safe to stay in, that hit hard. To let you all know, FEMA, is basically useless, they denied have the people down here, and when they did help people they gave bits and pieces of cash. Insurances, if you got USAA, STAY WITH THEM, they cutted checks extremely fast with no hesitation, while other insurances still have people waiting TODAY!! We had no power for almost 3 weeks, and even when we got it we were running off mini power grids until they could get our main ones up, wit that being said, power kept going off and on cause of the small grids, had no WiFi, cable, phone for 3 months.

They put out evacuation orders for the beach cause of "Surge Flooding" but no evacuation orders were issued for the town, but WE are the ones who needed them. I've met so many tourists down here recently who keep saying you guys got it bad. Yeah you should of been here when we had no power, no resources, had to go somewhere hours away just for gas.

I'll post pics, you know how there is a whole line of connected trains on a rail road? The wind knocked the trains completely over. I couldn't get a pic of that cause state troopers were surrounding the area but insane

That is insane man, that was a really interesting read.
I'm glad you're alright, staying and even going outside just sounds brutal, you have a crazy family. (Isn't everyone from Florida crazy???)
I hope your day to day life goes back to normal quickly. Good luck

Appreciate it man, the worst part was taking showers with bottled waters man and sleeping with no A/C. Crazy thing is the beach got untouched and the storm came from the beach.
