So I started a YouTube channel years ago. I posted a video that blew up. I checked it about 2 weeks ago and it has 2 million views and got me around 3.7k subscribers. It's also growing fast because of the data for the last 28 days it says 1.1 million and I just checked today and I'm at almost 9k subscribers so in two weeks I got about 4K or so more. I also posted a new video last night and it's at 1.5k views already

My question is how does the monetization work? Is there an estimate chart as to how many views or subscribers are worth what?

YouTube pays for the ads that shows on your videos.
The more ad's ran on the video the more earnings you get.

Someone might have accumulated 10,000 views but not a single ad shown on the video, then they will not earn anything. If another video got only 800 views but there were ads shown every 3 mins, this video will get earnings.

Need 1000 subs and 4,000 hours watched in the last year to apply to be paid. Then once everything is set up, AdSense etc. Theyll pay you
