21 wrote It'll be fine, but you'd be better swapping the 8GB DIMM for another 4GB and running 4x4GB tbh. No ssd as of now but i have a 750 psu my mobo supports 32 gbs could i just get another 8 and take a 4 out ? |

Kynqy wrote No ssd as of now Definitely get some sort of SSD in there asap. They're cheap as chips these days anyway; amazon.com/dp/B07G3YNLJB/?tag=pcpapi-20 The 120GB version is $10 cheaper but I'd just get the 240GB. Kynqy wrote i have a 750 psu Quality is as important as wattage, if not more so. What's the make and model of the PSU? If it's low quality it might be worth replacing. Kynqy wrote my mobo supports 32 gbs could i just get another 8 and take a 4 out ? Yeah, could do that too if you wanted. DDR3 is cheap as chips anyway, an 8GB DIMM shouldn't be more than $20-25 on the used market. |

Kynqy wrote Ok the psu is an EVGA 80+ Bronze Again, it depends on the specific model. I think there's a BQ and B3 which are the better of the bunch, but the likes of the BT, BV, BR, B are all pretty low-end units. Honestly, though, it should suffice. |
