Where do you find facts? Good or bad facts.. people say don't trust the news. How do I know if my president is bad or if he is good?

I guess that's not what I'm getting at... do you just have to follow the news outlets and put it all together and that will tell the truth? Some things you read are biased or don't describe everything.

Politics are divided into two sub-categories here in America. You are either too far left, or you're too far right. (Left being Democrat, right being Republican) The best way for you to understand your government is for you to evaluate your own personal biases towards your country. "CNN" is biased; just like the "Daily News Wire". Both of these stations will feed you propaganda on either platform. If you actually wish to keep up with true politics you must pay attention to all of the dirty details, and ask yourself what do you believe is right & what do you believe is wrong? I guess the answer to your question, is that you need to seek your own truth on our government through first-hand sources. The right direction is usually on our press releases.
