Trying to play NHL 15 on xbox live against someone online but no luck. Game says only 125 players on but only need one! Any suggestions on how to play against others or on a team?

My guess is that either they have different connection types (NAT) than you, or that the connection is simply too poor due to region.
I would suggest getting the new one to avoid any more of these problems.
