So about 4-5 days ago I bought a 2019 Dodge Charger Scatpack and when I had first got the car the mileage range was around 148 per tank which I thought was pretty accurate, since then the range has dropped down to 46 miles per tank which is OBSCENE. The gas does seem to fall pretty quick which is understandable for a massive v8 but it doesn't seem that 46 miles should be accurate after hearing that most people get closer to 200 miles per tank. Is there a way I can reset the trip? |

If you drive like an ass then your MPG will go down which in return will show you getting less range per tank.
Also you should be getting around 275 mile per tank. https://i.imgur.com/UAgWbX6.png |

There may be a problem with the computer in the car making it send way more fuel than it's supposed to be. |

Ok, here's what I've come up with. You say you did about 190 miles on 3/4 of a tank. That would be about 13.875 gallons to go 190 miles which is about 13.69 MPG. That sounds about right for a new engine, some people say that after the break in period they notice no difference, and some say they see a huge difference. After a few thousand miles you may see an increase.
I think the number you're talking about is the "miles to E", go fill up and see if the number changes. When you reset the MPG one it takes a while to recalculate. It might be in your settings to reset when the car is turned off. When you are in stop and go your fuel economy is shot. It takes a lot of miles to make that accurate to your driving style. |
