So I am really new to linux, I dual booted with windows. But im trying to install the drivers and I have no idea how. I put the master.zip from github on the desktop and tried to install it, but its confusing me.
If anyone can help, that would be great.


This is the adapter I Have. amazon.com/gp/product/B07F3HY58Z/...&psc=1

This is the drivers for it I believe. github.com/jeremyb31/rtl8822bu-1
I just have no clue how to install it. +rep if you can help.

So I downloaded th official drivers and read something that says you need to put like ./install.sh
I did that but it failed somewhere along the line. im so confused.

So you need to compile the driver and then install it.

Try extracting the contents of the master zip. Inside the extracted fold open a terminal and type make, this should compile the driver, from there you should be able to install the driver by using the terminal you had open and typing sudo make install.

So it says no makefile found
