Hey guys, just curious if a build such as the following would work? :

==========================================================================

Motherboard:
MSI B450 GAMING PLUS AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Graphics Card:
EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Black Gaming,8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans Graphics Card

Ram:
G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000)

HDD:
Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM006 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

SSD:
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive - SATA III 6 Gb/s - V-NAND - 512MB Cache - AES 256-Bit Hardware-Based Encryption

Case:
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case, Tempered Glass Panels, Up to 420mm GPU, 360mm Liquid-cooling, 4 120mm Fans Pre-installed - CULLINAN

Power:
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3, 80 Plus Gold 850W, Fully Modular, Eco Mode with New HDB Fan, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Compact 150mm Size

(Uncertain if I should get this or stick with just the Ryzen provided fan)
Liquid cooling:
upHere Technology All-in-One High Performance Water Liquid CPU Cooler with Adjustable 120mm PWM Fan,Red LED (AM4 Compatible)

Budget: (Roughly $2000 CAD)

==========================================================================

I've only recently started doing widespread research on building my own computer. Any advice, help, tips and changes to the current build would be strongly helpful.

(Again this is just a base frame of what will become a hopefully long lasting future computer for both Gaming and school work.)

Thank you in advanced

What is your budget and currency?
What monitor(s) will you be using with this system?
What exactly will the system be used for?

If you have a little more money in your budget I would go with intel. Yes that would work and it would be a great machine! If you plan on overclocking it which I suggest then, go with the new cooler. But if you don't know how or don't care I would just stick with the cooler they give you!

The liquid cooler would definitely be quieter. I have the Corsair h100i pro and I love it! But so far dude looks like that machine is going to be a beast!

TIP: Since the 2070 does have display port you might want to look into getting a monitor that supports that as well. 144HZ on display port is amazing especially since you'll have a high end machine. Just a thought!
