My friend is giving me a lend of a keyboard and mouse to try on Xbox with Fortnite. However, I currently use the Astro A40 with Mixamp M80 which are exclusive to Xbox. The adapter goes into the controller which in turn provides the sound.
If I was to connect the kb & m, then how would I use my headset for chat? Could the controller just be kept on? Any advice would be appreciated. |

| You should be able to just keep the controller on while using the key board and mouse. Just make sure that you are signed into your xbox account with the controller to talk. |
