I cant tell you what to get, but i can suggest what NOT to get. Don't go with any Chinese brand, like Tao Tao. I got a 125cc bike, and the day i got it, the back tire spun on the wheel, and I have had nothing but trouble with it since
personally i like dual sport style bike, so that you can ride anywhere, on road and off. I'd suggest a Honda bike. they run forever. |

| My first bike was a r6 despite everyone telling me it was to much bike for a first bike. Honestly if I would have gotten anything smaller I would of been over it in a week. That's just my experience though. |

I'd go with straight gears.
When I passed my CBT I looked at bikes like the Yamaha WR125 X as I'm a taller guy and being on the smaller bikes didn't look right. However due to the cost of the WR I ended up going with a Yamaha XT125 X, was a great bike. I'd agree with the above comment of avoid the cheap brand bikes and stick to the main brands. |

| Aprilla rs125 or sx125 if you like supermoto. Be prepared for them powerbands. You'll be the coolest kid on the block with these. |
