You can use a legitimate version of Windows 10 for free, or buy a key for ~$30. I definitely wouldn't pay the $100+ retail price for Win10.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Team - T-Force Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Intel - 660p Series 512 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($60.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB OC Video Card ($349.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master - MasterBox NR600 (w/o ODD) ATX Mid Tower Case ($75.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($44.98 @ Newegg)
Monitor: VIOTEK - GN27DW 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor ($289.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1196.90

The R5 2600 has recently come up to $165 from $140, so I'd just grab the 2600x for $180. If you can get the 2600 for $140 though, then it'd probably be worth saving the $40.

480-512GB SSD would be the minimum I'd expect in a build of this tier, you will likely want to add an HDD when you have some more cash, but it's easy enough to add an HDD at any point anyway.

I included a nice 1440p 144Hz monitor, it has a VA panel and Freesync support(which you can use with the RTX 2060). This monitor will easily last you several GPU upgrades. The RTX 2060 is a great pairing with this monitor. You'll have to lower some more demanding settings in AAA titles to high if you want to stay above 100FPS though, if you just crank everything to Ultra in the more demanding games, you'll definitely drop under 100FPS but will still be above 60FPS.

For case, there are plenty of good options in the $70-90 range. I like the NR600, but there's also the Fractal Meshify C, NZXT H500, Phanteks Eclipse P350X/P400(S). You could grab something for $40-50 that won't be too terrible, but anything less than $70ish is where you start to really lose quality/features with cases.

I'd have liked to squeeze a better PSU in, the CX450M is good quality PSU and will do the job perfectly fine, but if you can manage the extra $30, something like this would be great;

I'd just grab any cheap $20-30 kb+mouse combo from Newegg/Amazon for now, since they're the easiest thing to upgrade later.
