Hi there , the point of this post is to make people aware that there is help out there and get it as soon as u start to see signs appearing , We as a community of TTG should be here for each other aswell . Yes I know people might not want to speak to strangers about personal stuff , but speaking to someone helps so I'm reaching out that I am here to listen to problems and any mental health issues as I've been through stuff like this before and came out for the better.

Some signs to start looking for :

Cancelling Plans last minute
Believing you are a burden to most people
Mood swings
Being emotionally distant
Constantly needing reassurance
Isolating themselves from everything and stuff they enjoy
Frequent crying and meltdowns
Over reacting to things are so small?

Check your friends for these and these could be the start of something horrific. Always Seek Help , friends , family , doctors

Also another few interesting facts for us men :

84 men take there own lives each week
75% of all suicides are male
25% of men live with a mental issue
Men are less likely to get help

This is scary , let's start it speaking out and saving our lives aswell as others .

NOTE girls are just important so don't be afraid everything can get better

IM HERE FOR ANYONE NEEDING TO SPEAK ABOUT ANYTHING , DROP ME a PM and I'm also hoping other members can do the same

Thanks for this post my dude! I feel the reason behind the suicide rate for males is that usually guys don't express themselves as much as women I have a 3 mental health diagnoses I'm bi polar, I have anxiety, and depression. I've noticed when I was living in a program when I was a teen that mostly girls talked about their feelings while most males just kept holding back about not talking about how they feel and then eventually explode with rage or simply suicide attempts. I've been dealing with my mental health healthy now and I've learned a lot since I was a teen to handle things better, I've been coping with this since I was 13 and now I'm 23. Honestly life is precious and short so I try to live my life the best I can and everyone should as well! My advice to everyone is to don't hold things back please talk to someone and use coping skills which is very important such as listening to music or little things that you do enjoy to do. Everyone matters in this world and breaks my heart when people don't get help and end up taking their lives. Even though life can be hard you can get through this obstacle in life have faith in yourself, you matter and don't let your thoughts get the best of you!

I want really one to talk about my problems with others because I raised to by the saying "Your problem are your problems and only you problems". After getting into a relationship my gf made me realize its okay to talk about your feelings and I have been working on that for awhile now and it feels so great to let go of everything ive held in.

thanks for this post, I have lost a friend from suicide because of there depression. they felt like they didn't belong in this world and they weren't accepted into society by there family mostly. I tried to be there for him and I even talked to his family about it but they were in denial about it. then a few weeks later I got the news about what happened, it was heartbreaking and there family tried to blame me for not speaking up.....but I did speak up to his family. they did not speak to me for a while until his sister got I touch with me, and now her and I are really good friends but anyways thanks for this post man.

I appreciate you posting this. I see a counsler every 2 weeks. I have very bad anxiety and stress. And sometimes anger problems. I can over react to small things and blow up. I can't keep things bottled up anymore like I use to sometimes my PTSD comes to the surface. My counsler says it relates to this triggering from my mom's death.
