So I grew up not really having a lot so therefore never got big gifts or anything like that so now that I'm grown and everyone is asking me what I want for gifts, I am super confused what to say. Do you simply just ask for gift cards for things you want or do you ask for the actual things? Just interested in what everyone thinks about it, I usually just tell everyone I don't need anything because it doesn't make any sense to me and I don't want to offend anyone by what I want lol |

I'm one of the people that don't like gift cards. I enjoy guessing what something is, then unwrapping something totally different.
I don't know if this will even work for you, but it's what I do. When they ask me, I just act like I don't know then talk about something completely random. However, that random thing I'm talking about is actually what I kind of want. I also have a golden rule of never ask for or buy technology as a gift. |
