My photoshop has been fine so far but today this stared happening to gradients and shadows etc. Anyone know what the issue is?

When you put a gradient down it just turns black? Could be something with the mode in the gradient layer style,
More info on the problem would help :p |

I have a few ideas as to what could cause this, 1. Check the 'smoothness' option in the gradient editor, could be causing it. This is the most likely option I believe. https://i.gyazo.com/827f438f12fb11ed8819f7506b425c8d.png 2. Could be the resolution of the canvas, causing the colors to not blend well. 3. Make sure dither is checked.
