If you are not starting with much money, I would start trading on a platform that is commission free ( I personally recommend robinhood).
Don't get into options until you've mastered buying and holding stocks, and pay close attention to the news. Also you shouldn't view stocks as a get rich quick scheme, as it'll never happen and you'll lose all your money Happy investing |

I'm also just getting into it, but more interested in day trading and swing trading as opposed to investing. Ive got a pretty good idea of what companies I want to start with, and at first I'm only looking for small gains and low risk. I've been researching the last few months and been watching the market to get the best idea possible of what precautions to take and how to get out of bad situations.
If you wanted to talk about this stuff I'm always down, I'm usually on discord so if you or anyone else wants to either add me here or on discord Fold#5796 id be down to get started with you. I think it would be cool to have a small discord chat going based on his kind of stuff. |

How much are you going to start off with ? Yeah i think it would be cool to have a chat with users on this forum about it. |

I'm starting off small with just a few hundred bucks as I continue to accrue information. I haven't bought much, just a few stocks here and there and just focusing on winning with a plan vs. buying in without a strategy and hoping. And yeah it would be awesome to have other people keeping there eyes open on trends and good stocks to buy into. |

invested around $1,200 dollars in a fuel alternative company, doubled the money in a month. withdrew around $2000 dollars minus taxes which was like 200 dollars. If you know what you are doing you can make good money. it was my first time ever investing in stocks., |
