Hey, dads 50th is coming up and hes been needing a new pc for awhile so im lookling to build him a nice one. He doesnt play any games really just uses it mainly for work or watching videos. Looking for a pretty quick build preferably Ryzen and a 500gb ssd installed into it.
What is your budget and currency? 500-600GBP Do you need a monitor? no Do you need a keyboard? no Do you need a mouse? no Do you need an operating system? no What will you use the PC for? Mainly daily use web browsing, youtube etc! I Have an NZXT h500i already from a mate and a GTX 970 from my previous build because i thought i'd just throw that in there incase he wanted to play a game or so further down the line. thanks for your time |

Honestly, you'd be fine with even an R5 2400G. The R5 2600 is similarly priced though and since you have a discrete GPU anyway, that could be a good shout if you just want to build asap. Zen 2 is only a couple of weeks away now though and looks like it's going to be pretty good so I would personally just hold off for Zen 2. |

Yeah was looking into the 2600 before! Definitely will take your advice and wait for Zen 2 though! His birthday isn't till the end of next month anyway so it works out well! Thanks again 21! |
