What is your budget and currency? What exactly is the system being used for? Do you need a monitor? If no, what monitor(s) are you using? Do you need keyboard, mouse, etc? |

My budget doesn't matter just reasonably priced on motherboard like a range from $60 - $105 and I'm asking if my computer will work I'll be using a Predator 2k 244hz monitor Keyboard is just my old Alienware one and mouse is a Razer Naga and the system is used for Gaming, Recording, Editing, and Graphic Design. If you could send me some motherboard selections that will work good that would be great! |

T-0-S wrote My budget doesn't matter It does matter because we can not help you without a budget. We are not mind readers. T-0-S wrote just reasonably priced on motherboard like a range from $60 - $105 Yup, that's a budget. So, you already have the R7 2700 and need a compatible motherboard? T-0-S wrote I'll be using a Predator 2k 244hz I'm assuming you mean 1440p, and 144Hz? 2k is not 1440p, 2k is 1080p. T-0-S wrote the system is used for Gaming, Recording, Editing, and Graphic Design What games? What editing programs will you be using? Different games/programs work differently depending on your hardware, so you might be better off getting an Intel CPU(although, unlikely with 3rd gen Ryzen tbh). So, what components do you have already? What exactly do you still need to buy, and what is your budget/currency for everything you need? |

Yes I bought the CPU already and I'm just looking for a Motherboard I'm assuming you mean 1440p, and 144Hz? 2k is not 1440p, 2k is 1080p. Yes 1440p What games? What editing programs will you be using? Different games/programs work differently depending on your hardware, so you might be better off getting an Intel CPU(although, unlikely with 3rd gen Ryzen tbh). Just Sony Vegas Pro, Photoshop, and just newer games like I've been trying to play Black Ops 4 and my PC just chokes. So, what components do you have already? What exactly do you still need to buy, and what is your budget/currency for everything you need? I have my Case, Cpu, Powersupply, and Ram. All I need left to buy is my RTX 2080 Super and Motherboard. My budget for my Motherboard which is the last thing I need to figure out is $105 could you give me recommendations for my Motherboard and give me an idea of my performance or if my computer will function well at all? |

Well, need to know what case you have for compatibility with the motherboard.
For $105ish, assuming your case is compatible, I'd be getting an MSI B450 Tomahawk. You've not listed storage anywhere, I hope you've got an SSD. Also, would be useful to know the make and model of your PSU. If it's a low quality unit, you might want to replace it. |

I have an NZXT H700 ATX Case For $105ish, assuming your case is compatible, I'd be getting an MSI B450 Tomahawk. I'll check that motherboard out. You've not listed storage anywhere, I hope you've got an SSD. Also, would be useful to know the make and model of your PSU. If it's a low quality unit, you might want to replace it. I have a 2tb HDD and a 256g SSD |
