JDM wrote 1. Do you wanna learn cars
If no, dont buy a German car
2. If you dont want to fix things then dont buy a old bmw
3. If you want a cheap BMW all the small things probably will not work and it will burn something.

So if you dont wanna learn cars dont buy s old cheap bmw

Just not true but OK. I've had E36s, E34s and E39s. All had 0 problems with them.

I've also had an E60, whilst the engine is fine, it does have so many sensors that you will almost always have a warning light on. But it doesn't affect the car.

Old BMWs>New BMWs.

I went through this phase mate I would advise on getting a shit box for your first car drive for a couple years let the insurance get a little lower then buy your nice car that gives you more time to save for a nice name in the future
