What are the pros and cons of using a monitor over a tv or vice versa, i was looking into upgrading and i'm debating on getting a monitor or a TV (around the 200$ mark) and wanted to see which one's best.
Also if you have any recommendations on a TV or a Monitor around that price range, id be willing to look into it. |

I always loved smaller Tv's ( Montiors ) I have a LG Wide monitor ranged from $160-$220. to me gaming is much better on them not into the whole big screen things. |

Having a monitor helps with response times, but a smaller screen. A T.V. is great for a relaxing time, and perfect for big areas in your place. |

I usually use a 1080p monitor for my xbox and the 1ms refresh rate and overall feel of the monitor is great for competitive gaming, when it comes to wanting to have a game look nice i'll plug it into my 4K TV and enjoy the graphics but that's usually just single player experiences. Just find what you're mainly going to be doing and go off that. There is some really good monitors out there now which are the best of both worlds. |

-Myth_ wrote Minister will always be better mate I think he means Monitor*. Personally I use a TV only because I also watch Kodi on my Xbox after gaming it's really personal preference and where the tv/monitor would be situated. |
