Overall the build is fine but I would look at upgrading the CPU considering you plan to stream.
I changed it from a Ryzen 5 2600X to a Ryzen 7 2700X (~ +20% performance) Changed RAM to save money. Changed GPU to save money. Changed the monitor to one I think is better (really not a big difference) PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor (£191.99 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard (£114.94 @ AWD-IT) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (£73.91 @ CCL Computers) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£76.10 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£34.99 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card (£443.47 @ Ebuyer) Case: Fractal Design Focus G ATX Mid Tower Case (£50.47 @ Scan.co.uk) Power Supply: Corsair RMx 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£88.98 @ AWD-IT) Monitor: Acer Nitro 27-Inch Gaming Monitor (£229.95 @ Amazon UK) Keyboard: Corsair K68 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard (£148.90 @ Amazon UK) Mouse: Corsair M65 PRO RGB FPS Wired Optical Mouse (£34.98 @ Scan.co.uk) Speakers: Logitech Z200 0 nW 2.0 Channel Speakers (£21.99 @ Box Limited) Total: £1,510.67 i]Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available[/i] Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-09-20 14:17 BST+0100 |

Do you plan on having those speakers at a distance, or are you going to be using headphones/headset? Because those will give feedback on a mic and people will hate you. You also really should include a budget, because I can either guess you're going for 1500GBP or as high as you care to get the results you want. I can say this much though, if you want to stream I really would recommend a second monitor, SURE you can use one, but it's a lot easier to never alt tab and see in real time how your stream is looking.
Also your parts list is no longer private. What kind of mic are you looking for? What kind of audio are you trying to record, and finally budget? |

F64_Rx wrote so this would be good for gaming and streaming? also would i need anything adding / adjusting thanks for help Good god no, is that a 30 quid case in a £1500 system? Seriously? Please don't. Don't use those speakers either. Just not worth getting cheap speakers that won't sound good. Also, that monitor, the LG 25UM58- it's fine. It doesn't really belong in a system like this though. The MSI Optix monitor you had originally is a good choice. Although I'd be aiming for 1440p144Hz personally, but that'll be hard with your budget since you want an expensive keyboard, and need speakers. Oh, and ditch the HDD and 860 EVO for a 1 or 2TB Intel 660p. So, I'd be looking at something like this; PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor (£191.99 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard (£116.40 @ Alza) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£68.21 @ CCL Computers) Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£97.97 @ CCL Computers) Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card (£443.47 @ Ebuyer) Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A ATX Mid Tower Case (£64.17 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: Corsair TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (£63.97 @ Amazon UK) Monitor: MSI Optix MAG241C 23.6" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor (£195.61 @ Amazon UK) Keyboard: Corsair K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE Wired Gaming Keyboard (£118.99 @ AWD-IT) Mouse: Corsair M65 PRO RGB FPS Wired Optical Mouse (£34.98 @ Scan.co.uk) Total: £1395.76 8C/16T CPU is a must over 6C/12T if you're streaming, especially with how cheap the 2700x is. I also swapped the motherboard out for something with better VRMs, and changed the RAM from 3000MHz to a 3200MHz kit. I swapped the storage like I said above, and changed the case to a good quality case on the lower end for pricing. Definitely wouldn't be spending much less(if any) than the P400A. Spend an extra tenner on PSU if you want the fully modular EVGA 550G3, but I'd just stick with the TXM550 probably, it's a good price and semi-modular is pretty much the same as fully modular when you have a PSU basement lmao. Okay, so peripherals. I've left you about 100 quid to play with there for speakers, or headphones- whichever you prefer. I'd probably spend most, or all of that for something decent. I can leave suggestions if you want, but need to know if it's speakers or headphones you're wanting. If you like the M65, then you'll like the way the G603 feels; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/KFQyp...-910003820 it's wireless and silly cheap. I used to have a Corsair Raptor M45. I was going to upgrade to M65 PRO after using my friends, but got a G602 instead and have been loving it ever since. For the keyboard, I included a K65 so if you don't like a TKL, you'll need to spend a little extra for this K70; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/6RMwr...9109014-na Both of which have MX Speeds instead of MX Reds- better if that's the kind of switch you want. However, I would personally go with MX Blues, or settle for MX Browns since MX Blues with RGB LEDs are almost impossible to find. Here's the 2 I'd be looking at getting personally; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/mWvZx...0e1-b0ua00 uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/WbGxF...9109012-na Lastly, the monitor- included the 1080p144Hz MSI display, but like I said, I'd be looking at 1440p144Hz. This is the cheapest you'll find one; ebuyer.com/838555-eg-27-gaming-mo...nc-gs27-v2 which is actually a really great price, but it's a TN panel unfortunately. This is the monitor I'd be keeping my eye on personally; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/qnqhP...7jg50qqnza it has come down to £225-250 on Amazon regularly and is an absolute steal at that price. |
