Soo 500-700? What's the dead max of your budget are you willing to go to it? Why do you have a keyboard and mouse but no OS...? You can clone an OS or buy Windows 10 for like 20 bucks if you can manage the time to find a key website. Tons of them. Typical to me I try to give people breathing room on upgrades. You could save $50-60 if you swap the GTX 1660Ti for a vanilla GTX 1660, but if you do that I would definitely recommend overclocking the GTX 1660, especially memory. You can use Win10 for free, or buy a key for ~$30 if you want to validate it. Ideally would like to have a better CPU in a system of this budget, like an R5 1600/2600 but since you need a monitor you have to make a sacrifice somewhere, and CPU upgrade will be the easiest/cheapest in the future, rather than GPU or monitor upgrade, especially since used AM4 CPU's are cheap as chips. If you get a 60Hz monitor, or a cheaper GPU(like an RX 580), you should be able to fit an R5 2600 within budget though, if you want. |
