Started playing beta and thought this game don't feel great like most call of duty games did.
The movement isn't great and I feel when I shoot first people can still get chance to turn and kill me and I have never had this issue with running a 197mbps connection it shouldn't be this way Let me know what you guys think of the new call of duty below... |

I agree there is something about the game I just don't like - the shotguns don't seem very balanced at all though in the alpha they seemed a lot better all be it a bit too powerful in 2v2. I do feel like there is a delay when shooting or someone just sees you first somehow.
I do like the graphics for the game though and I will buy it mainly for the campaign. Hopefully though when the beta is over and the game is released and patches come out, they can fix some of the issues noticed by the players. |

I was in a gunfight on 2v2 and my bullets won't shoot through some wood were others peoples bullets did It's very inconsistent and a lot of bugs |

It's definitely got things to improve upon, however, I've been playing Call of Duty since the release of the franchise, and the last Call of Duty that I actually enjoyed was Modern Warfare 2. This new Modern Warfare feels as close to the old Call of Duty's that you'll get. It certainly looks alot different and there's plenty in the game that's broken, but it does have the potential to be a great game.
I will say that I agree with you in terms of when you shoot someone in the back without missing a shot, they always seem to have a chance to turn around and kill you before you can finish them off, which is just a bit naff. I also agree that when I first loaded in, it felt a bit alien to me, like a merge between a Battlefield style play and Call of Duty, although the more I played, the better it felt. It's just a big change. Finally, let's not forget that this is a BETA. It's used to iron out bugged by using players as BETA testers. I really wish we didn't get so many chances to play ALPHA's and BETA's for games and that games companies would just spend the extra money on proper testing in house. |

Mike wrote The game low key caters to campers I do agree completely, but I feel like it caters to them in a very odd way. The maps in my opinion suck, there are way to many lines of sight in any given location, too many doorways/windows/alleys/obstructions and it makes the maps feel crowded. Moving makes you constantly turn blind corners where enemies can be waiting in any number of locations. This is why I think the game has pushed a weird camping meta, because normally in a balanced map there are expected bottlenecks where players are forced through that one would expect a camper. Since we all play(ed) Modern Warfare 2, I always think of the tunnel on Sub Base, the plane tunnel on Terminal, the bridges on Rundown or the bunker in Wasteland (among many others) where players were forced to travel through these areas in order to easily move to different parts of the map. It was then expected running through those areas to be cautious of campers/claymores and play it extremely safe. No one was casually running through the Wasteland bunker not expecting to get lit up from a camper waiting just outside on the other side. Aside from these one or two bottlenecks, you could pretty much run around and expect head-to-head engagements with other players who were also just running around. Modern Warfare though has so many places to move through, and so many lines of sight, that it's impossible to expect where or when someone is going to be camping. There are no real bottlenecks to camp in, so instead players are just arbitrarily laying down or crouching in a random window and waiting for players they hope are going to come. This in turn creates paranoia and then everyone only feels safe when they camp. Combine this with the extremely fast time to kill and you have a really weird meta of players too nervous to freely run around and instead need to camp or place claymores in random locations in order to get kills. |

It caters to campers a lot most defo based on what I have seen.
Also the sound movement you can hear in your headset isn't correct in most cases |

It caters to campers in very odd ways, yes. People putting out deployable shields to then mount on etc. It's very odd.
However, there are many counters. Mounting on walls. The stuns/flashes are OP. It's made the game require more teamwork imo. You can't really get a solo pubstomper like you could in every other Call of Duty. I personally enjoy it, but as mentioned above, it does require various tweaks here and there in order to be top quality. Game is promising! Here's hoping their finished product is a thing of beauty. (Not like I've been saying this for years...) |
