I guess you all wanna know why I'm here, if not, what are you doing reading this for? It's simple really - I signed up because I was enjoying the grind of playing The Surge 2, just like I enjoyed the first one.
When the game crashed for the umpteenth time today, no big deal I thought, I restarted the computer, did some other shit and go back to continue where I left off - but my savegame is corrupt and there's no backup, my own fault in a way, I knew I should have made one, that's dumb pcplayerzerosevenone for you in this case. I'm not 100% sure how close to the end because I haven't finished it, but I was level 74 or so, I'd completed all the missions I'd found so far and I'd just given away, then retrieved the skyhook thing, whatever it's called - I'm angry and couldn't be bothered looking up its name. I had all my gear at least level V, almost every piece of gear I was using in one of the three templates was higher and I'd found a shitload of secrets, I don't enjoy games as much without finding hidden items, it adds to every game I love. So I was farming the area inside the club for those statues that come to life because it seemed like the quickest way to make $$$ and to level up to 80 before going back to save the girl... then my savegame got corrupted and I hadn't made a backup so I'm back at square one. I found a trainer on here which generally speaking, I never use, because I like to play my games myself and not cheat or make them easier than they were designed to be. In this case I've lost hundreds of hours of gameplay without a backup anywhere and decided to check it out to see if it may help me get back to where I was.
