Hello everyone. I am planning to build a new PC and currently i am searching for a good (or at least quite decent) case for my setup. So my future build will be probably 3700x and 2060 Super. So recently i found H500 case and it seems really good-looking and great for cable management but there is only 1 thing that bothers me: air-flowing system. in particular, side air holes for the front part of the case. I've have watched some testings and it seems not to be as hot as expected, but i am not completely sure regarding it's temperatures. Is there someone who has kind of hot setup and uses H500? How the case is handling? If i eventually buy this case, i want to use only 2 fans for exhaust on top and rear since front fans won't do anything according to tests.

Thank you, in advance, for your concern.

I recently put together my first custom build "2 months ago" and decided to use the Cooler Master h500 case. I originally wanted a NZXT h500 case but i wasn't to sure about it's overall cooling and i didn't want to use AIO liquid cooling. I was set on getting the Meshify c by fractal design because i heard it was a great case but stores near me ran out of stock. I watched a few more videos and discovered the Cooler Master H500, it has great airflow and looks great to me. It comes with 2x 200mm RGB Fans on the front and 1x 120mm rear exhaust, i purchased separate fans for sound and performance so it may not look as appealing to some but I'm very happy with it. I also was going to use the Dark Rock pro 4 for my cpu cooling but there were more stock issues last minute. I can play most of my game maxed out in 1440p and don't have any cooling issues, I think the hottest temps have been 50-60 degrees Celsius. If you are wanting the NZXT but are still not sure i can definitely recommend the CM h500.

Which H500? There's like 27 of them.

If it's the NZXT H500, then it is pretty sub par for airflow. I personally wouldn't buy one, I'd be looking at a CM NR600, Phanteks P400A, or Fractal Meshify instead.

That said, if it's the NZXT H500 you like and want, then get it. It will be fine. There are better options, but everyone has different priorities when it comes to their system and if the H500 fits yours, then it's a perfectly fine option. Though it might also be worth looking at NZXT's updated H510.

My bigger concern would be the RTX 2060 Super. It's a pretty poor purchase in most situations IMO. RX 5700(XT) seems to almost always be a better option, or maybe a cheap RTX 2070 if you can find any left.
