Alright peeps, I am no PC wizard. But I got a second hand PC for a reasonable price, only for web browsing and for of course using TTG.
However it just feels so sluggish and lazy, and almost like it cannot be bothered to even work. Is there anything I can do to improve this? If needed I will post a screenshot of specs. |

You could try downloading ccleaner, it's a free version and a paid but the free is good.
It scans and deletes the unnecessary stuff on your computer. And maybe uninstall some software which you dont use and not needed |

Fresh install Windows 10 if you haven't already. 99% of the time it's either Windows being bloated with downloads or the system doesn't have an SSD. |

Here's the better question, what's the PC specs? And is this actually a PC or a laptop?
Personally I use Speccy for this info. Easy download, free, shows temperatures, speeds, software info and hardware info, etc. Speccy Download All you need to do is take a screenshot of that and post it here. Hit the "Print Screen" key at the home screen of Speccy. Open up MS paint, and hit "Ctrl+V" and save the image to your desktop. Upload it to whatever site you like, and then put the link of the image here. Considering your situation of a second hand PC, I would wager heavily that your HDD has simply slowed down and a replacement would be best advised. Could also be thermal throttling on the CPU, possibly the RAM being aged, lot of possibilities really for a slow PC. Nearly 70% of the time though it's related to a storage. |
