Way to expensive imo. The modding scene isn't active enough plus these cods are dying, so why is a game like mw2 $250 for lifetime access? Very interesting

Currently everything is in free mode - prices aren't quite set in stone. I believe they're based on current rates for services such as xbOnline / Ninja, however I don't want to speak for the creators as I'm not 100% their reasoning.

Thing is with Ninja and Xbonline, you need them to mod online because they are stealth servers. The infinity loader is not needed to mod online, so why would they price match a stealth server?

You do need infinity loader to mod CoD online for either Steam, Playstation, or Xbox. While for Xbox you would also need a stealth server to connect to online (I do see what you're saying here), you wouldn't be able to modify the games on Xbox via injecting GSC, which is what the programs main purpose is; bypassing the hotfix that was implemented at the height of MW2 modding that stopped the injection of modified gsc code. Infinity Loader is essentially allowing for three different operating systems to be modified in the same way, whereas stealth servers only provide access to one OS.

you can mod CODs without infinity loader? There's plenty of people doing still isn't there? Infinity loader brings back old modding like you said with the modified gsc code. But, it is not needed to mod, can't someone just use the ikonroi menu to mod mw2 still?

Yes, that is correct, you can still mod cod without Infinity Loader. However in that case, that's the point of Infinity Loader, as if you were to boot up iKonroi, you'd need to pay for a stealth server, as well as have a modified Xbox or rgh. Infinity Loader allows for Cod to be modded directly through the Steam client, as well as PlayStation.

Additionally, specifically on the iKonroi point, GSC modding offers considerably more possibilities than what post TU8 mods could do, which is one of the reasons I'm pretty excited for the possibilities this tool can provide. Once again I see where you're coming from, however I think the current scope of modding for Cods is pretty limited, which Infinity Loader really looks to expand. Enabling GSC mods again will (hopefully) ignite the niche community to create some really cook and interesting projects, while the modding community as a whole can enjoy modding the game in any way they so choose.

Ok I see what your saying also. Never the less it's still way to expensive in my opinion. I think the only way to revive the modding scene is an xbone exploit now. Hate to say it. Props to the creators for making this but I don't see anyone paying $250 to play mw2
