I posted about a week ago asking for a bit of updated help on RGHing consoles. about 4-5 Years ago i used to RGH consoles and sell them on here so i was pretty good at it and it was easy.
Now i haven't modded any Xbox 360s as i said above in around 4+ years and had forgot half of the process, but i wanted to do another console again just for fun. Anyway i just thought i would post this as an update to say i managed to complete the RGH and it is working great. I will stand up and admit that i made a huge noob mistake. When writing Xell to the console for the first time i forgot to click RGH 2 setting in JRunner and i was trying to boot the console and getting RROD and freezing and i thought it must be my wires. i was sat soldering and desoldering my wires for about 2 hours and ready to throw the console at the wall when i looked a JRunner and noticed it was set to Jtag and not RGH2 Just goes to show that these mistakes happen to everyone once in a while, and dont rush through the steps without checking everything Haha anyway i reflashed it using RGH2 and got it all working with instant boot just about every time. Here is a quick video of the boot times if anybody is interested. I will be doing a Case mod and LEDS ect soon |
