Im looking to buy a 3 series, i was wondering what i should look before buying it? as it will be my daily use car also looking to keep it for a few years before moving on again

What model? What year? If it's the F30 I highly reccomend and there are ton's of tunes you can do that are actually safe for daily use on those engines.

BMW diesel or petrol? you need to be more specific. There are like 6-7 different engine variants for both fuel types.

Not to mention there are several generations of 3 series bmw's, some better than others.

Find the model you like, then look on BMW forums, Reddit, etc for buying guides based on that model.

Oh, and be prepared to spend money. The initial purchase will be one thing, the(maybe) increase on your insurance will be another, but if you're used to a somewhat affordable car, get that outta your mind and be prepared to start working on it yourself as parts and labor for BMWs skyrocket compared to more basic cars.

I have a 320d XDrive M-Sport and I love it. 17 plate also!
