Center I would say is an easier position to play to start with, but mastering it takes a while, just learn dropsteps, play my career to understand positioning on boxouts and you just gotta feel when to put the ball back up, at first I'd recommend passing out all the time and only taking open looks though and work your way into being a paint beast

I'mma try to make this short as possible but easy to understand hopefully.

As a big, realise just because you're taller than the defender doesn't mean you should go up on him unless its a guard. Make sure you're in a good position with hop steps/post spins. I played SF lockdown defender last year and the mistake i see a lot even this year is bigs love going up on SF/PF's because they think 7'3 will bail out their shots.

Make sure you have the correct badges on:

Brick wall (Gold)
Rim protector (Gold)
Intimidator (HoF)
Rebound chaser (Gold)
Pogo Stick (silver)

Very good defensive badges for mycareer, once you get all of your badges up or at least a majority of them you can move them around and get some that benefit you when playing with other people like brick wall and interceptor.

It would also help to know what build and pie chart you have so i can give a good estimate on how to badge it.
