Does anybody know :
Can you play offline or is it a full online game?
Are there online trophies or is platinum offline available?
Can you compare it to Elderscrolls or Tera?

Asking because I'm thinking of buying it, cause it's 50% off at psn store.

You won't be able to play offline.
The achievements are online only.
Two almost completely MMO games.

BDO: lack of instanced raids and dungeons, world bosses spawning in fairly large time windows, heavy afk activities, unbalanced open world pvp, cash grabbing systems slowing your progression at anything you try to do, action combat, genderlocked classes, great character customization, unmatched graphics with a "credible" medieval art-direction, deep crafting, cooking, alchemy, processing, sailing, horse training...best professions in any MMO ever. Super-fast horses.

ESO: instanced raids (only 12 men) and dungeons, world bosses are alwyas there until they get killed, no afk activity, cash grabbing system forcing you to spend money to unlock new and additional regions, classes or perks, action combat mixed with tab-targeting system far from the BDO one but much more deep due to the many customization that you can do to your build, very simple crafting system, good graphics but nothing really special. Stupidly slow horses.

Thanks. So can you recommend it?

Sounds like an average mix of Tera and Eso.
To me it's important that I'm not forced to spend more real money to win or finish the game. That everything is available with ingame currency.

I've Eso and Tera already finished; that's why I asked if it's comparable.

I agree with WLR, It's a good game just a lot of grinding and money needs to be spent to play it fully.

Ok...
1000 of hours in a game, not unusual... I'm playing Eso since 2015 :-)

But that much money... Nope.

So thanks for your responses.

Anyone who says you need to spend money on bdo is a **** moron. There is no pay to win stuff in the store there. They give u stuff from the store for free all the time with the exception of the premium outfits which you can buy with in game money from the market board.

Pets r given for free plenty of times and value packs arent neccessary but can be gotten easily enough through events or other methods while tents are kind if a waste unless your a person who spends all day grinding in one spot
