I've been on xbox for the longest time and I'm kind of sick of the fps limitations so I figure I could use a new pc specifically for gaming purposes.

What is your budget and currency? $800 usd
What will you use the PC for? Mostly gaming.
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? I would like to get a reliable monitor for my specifications that wont hurt the budget too much
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals?Nope. I already have a mouse and a keyboard.
Do you need an operating system? I can buy that myself
Will you overclock? Most likey...yes.
Anything else we should know? Uhmm not that i can think of

Its ok if its a little over $800 btw
Thanks.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($117.68 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($110.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Intel 660p Series 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($62.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6 GB SC ULTRA GAMING Video Card ($239.99 @ Best Buy)

Power Supply: Corsair CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($54.93 @ Amazon)
Monitor: VIOTEK GN24CB 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor ($149.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $846.55

You'll probably need to buy a couple of cheap case fans at least as well, but you'll be able to get a pair for <$20 easily.
If you need to cut costs to get the system closer to $800, you can shave off $50-60 pretty easily without sacrificing performance.
