I had an interview yesterday, they contacted me the day before and gave me an phone interview then asked me to come in for another interview. There wasn't any hard questions it was more of getting to know me. The interview went great and the manager even through in the start dates for the new hires. Also walked me to the door after my interview and asked what I had planned for the rest of the day which was weird haha. I was told I would get contacted either yesterday or today & I was kind of worried since I didn't receive a call yesterday .... am I just overthinking?
UPDATE: I just got the call and I got the Job !!!!

Your more than likely over thinking and you may get the call today or tommorow.
Fingers crossed you do get the call as it's clear based on the post that you really want the job! |

I'd say give it a little bit of time. Each job I've had when told I'd be contact the next day, especially near the weekend, I typically got contacted on the following Monday. But they may also wait till the end of the working day as more likely they're still doing other work as well as dealing with new hires. |

You gotta show your interest in the job my man it's a 2 way street if they don't call you give them a call say hey I went in for an interview the other day just wondering what's the status of my application. Keep bothering them show your interest that's the best way to go. Good luck man! |

Follow them on linkedin . Write a thank you. Also most jobs take about a week to get in contact with you. The job you applied for might not be priority 1. I've had friends who had to wait weeks or months till they respond. It all depends on how big the company is. Also don't get your hopes up for 1 jobs. Odds out there 50-100 applicants. Keep applying to other jobs and keep busy. Good luck op. I hope you get it. |

Show them you want the job. Call in saying you're ready whenever they are. Physically check in and show up ready to work. The more motivation you show towards them, the more they'll show towards you. If they hired someone else instead of you then give it some time if you really want that job. As soon as they have an opening you'll be the first on their list if you play your cards right. |

I would wait. Depending on the company, they move slow. During my last interview, I was told I would get a response about 5-7 days after, and I didn't get my acceptance letter till about 2 weeks later. |

VMP wroteyou're overthinking if they don't call today ring them back up. It's a test to see if you're really interested in the job or not if they say you will be contacted soon after another day call back again because you're dedicated to wanting that job. Everyone can apply at a job but who really wants the job gets it. |
