Windows Central has a very good history with leaks and early reports here is the basic details of it.
Custom AMD Zen 2 processor Xbox Series X is actually two Xbox consoles: Anaconda and Lockhart. In short, the former will be a cheaper, less powerful console for more of the casual gaming experience. Meanwhile, the former will be targeted at hardcore gamers who want power and the latest technology. |

Surprised they went with Zen 2 architecture on the CPU considering by the time it releases it will be previous generation architecture. Zen 3 will be with us in 2020 which will provide even better performance.
Also people are getting hung up by the numbers that Microsoft have said because they sound fancy. But in turn means sod all... Interesting to see what it will perform like because next year will be big for new architectures in the PC game too. |

I'm actually quite looking forward to dropping another $500+ to upgrade instead of buying a PC. Best investment I'll have ever made cuz people will thank I have a rectangle tower |

Super glad we're finally in an era where SSDs will be the norm. That being a big part of the Xbox One X, I'm excited that they will be a base part now.
I'm still questioning the purchase, but this is one positive upgrade for sure. |
