So I'm about to buy an RTX 2060. Before I go ahead and buy, I'm looking between these 2 cards

- EVGA 2060 XC (single fan)
- ASUS ROG 2060 strix (triple fan)

The EVGA card I can get for a little cheaper as a friend is selling it to me, but thought I should ask what card would perform better and does it make a drastic difference only having one fan

Performance would be the same across both cards since they both have such low heat output that cooler design wouldn't come into it. I'd go with whatever is cheapest or has the most warranty that you can squeeze out of it. I know with EVGA, you can even transfer the warranty so I guess if you can get it on the cheap then go with that option.

The performance would be around 2-4 percent difference. The Asus card has a higher voltage input compared to the EVGA card.
Compare the prices and if 2-4% seems worth the price increase to you then buy it. If not then go for the cheaper option. Again, if you were to overclock the EVGA card then you will get more for your money also.

I was having the same issue deciding between a EVGA 1080TI and ASUS ROG Strix 1080TI OC Edition.
I had the money to spare so I went for the ASUS ROG Card purely for the aesthetics and tiny performance difference.
As for cooling, I found the ASUS triple fan run hotter due to the voltage being higher.
