Since this budget is wide in reality, few more simple questions.
Are you looking into multiple monitors or just a single monitor? What games are you going to be playing? (some monitors just make them look better tbh) Do you have a keyboard preference? Tactile click? Responsive? Mouse preference? (wired, wireless, ETC) As far as wifi goes what are your rated speeds? (just determines on what kind of adapter you need really) |

Hancho- wrote Im conjuring Up something as we speak for you now, Ill edit my post so i dont wast space. Okay so this is quite the ridiculous build IMO judging strictly off the games your playing BUT, this is a High quality build with the best parts for what your looking for. Ill give you 2 of my best options imo . I left out the case, keyboard, mouse and cooling fans Aswell as monitor incase you wanted to get specific. Your build for a majority of your budget excluding mouse, keyboard, case, cooling fans and monitor incase you have specifics in mind but remember this build eats a lot of your budget due to shear market inflation. Your build I'm making what id go with to save some cash now will re edit soon (My current build is the left side of that benchmark screen shot) What I would do Monitor - MSI Optix G27C2 27 HyperX - Alloy FPS Pro Wired Mechanical Gaming USB Keyboard HyperX - Pulsefire Surge Wired Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting |

Going to be listing a couple based on different preferences really. The budget is high enough to accommodate for almost anything. For all of these i went with the 5700XT (you can swap to a 2070/80 super, though not entirely needed IMO unless you're a frame junkie)
Base system, there is a lot that is optional here. The case, motherboard, CPU, GPU, cooling. I went with a fairly straightforward system, good build space, decent cooling. The GPU is optional due to just keeping it at a lower budget. You could easily scrap half of this and throw a 2080/70(insert model here) in but at their price ranges for the performance at times i just don't really see the price being justifiable. The 5700XT is more than adequate enough for 1440p@144 if you lower the settings slightly in more demanding games. If not it's still a good stable rate on high/ultra. You can swap the CPU for a 3950x for about ~200 more. PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor (£438.00 @ Amazon UK) CPU Cooler: Fractal Design Celsius S36 87.6 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (£114.86 @ More Computers) Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard (£169.95 @ AWD-IT) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£141.18 @ Aria PC) Storage: Intel 660p Series 2.048 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£181.98 @ Ebuyer) Storage: Toshiba X300 5 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£99.97 @ Laptops Direct) Video Card: Asus Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB TUF Gaming X3 OC Video Card (£349.27 @ Amazon UK) Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case (£114.95 @ Box Limited) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£105.46 @ Scan.co.uk) Monitor: Dell S2719DGF 27.0" 2560x1440 155 Hz Monitor (£369.00 @ Box Limited) Total: £2084.62 Essentially the same build but based around a more quiet setting. Dampened case, quiet AIO (you could swap this out if you wanted air, or something more flashy). GPU & PSU are practically silent. (GPU ramps pretty high at times but the case should dampen most of that, the PSU hardly ever goes to max rpm). you could also take the same SSD and replace the HDD above. This was just included here to limit HDD noise at times. PCPartPicker Part List

Most people would either recommend 4x8 but the difference isn't too noticeable for most people. As far as the monitor goes with both of these systems i don't really know what size you were looking for or what resolution so i went with something in the middle with a decent spec sheet. This is something i would more than likely take advice from someone else on seeing as i don't stick much with 16:9 panels anymore. Regardless i'd grab a gas spring vesa arm. The keyboard and mouse really comes down to feel and your preference. I would check out mice at a local place if you have the chance if not have an idea of what you want and we can find you something. For the keyboard, i personally don't drop loads on peripherals like that. I went with a redragon k552 a few years ago and it still holds up perfectly fine to this day. Solid build ETC. Though that is just me, you can easily look towards custom built mechs, logitech, corsair, ETC. |

If you're really spending 2-2.5 racks, then you're being way too vague with your request honestly.
You can do a lot with that budget, so you really need to specify more what you're looking for if possible. What exactly is the system being used for, other than Fortnite? Fortnite isn't exactly a demanding game, you don't need £2000-2500 for it. What kind of monitor preferences do you have? High refresh rate, high resolution, ultrawide, etc? Do you have any preferences for aesthetics- RGB, air vs water cooling, etc? If I were personally looking to spend that much on a full system right now, this is probably the baseline I'd start at; PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor (£278.99 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard (£162.78 @ Aria PC) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£141.18 @ Aria PC) Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£99.99 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card (£449.99 @ CCL Computers) Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR600 (w/ODD) ATX Mid Tower Case (£69.98 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: Corsair TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (£64.31 @ More Computers) Monitor: MSI Optix MAG341CQ 34.0" 3440x1440 100 Hz Monitor (£494.05 @ Amazon UK) Keyboard: Asus ROG Claymore Wired Gaming Keyboard (£111.97 @ Aria PC) Mouse: Logitech G603 Wireless Optical Mouse (£42.94 @ Box Limited) Total: £1916.18 Then, if you want, use the remaining £600 to start adding extra's. If I was stretching that up to £2500, then I'd probably end up with something like this; PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor (£438.00 @ Amazon UK) CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler (£67.90 @ More Computers) Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard (£244.99 @ AWD-IT) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£141.18 @ Aria PC) Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£99.99 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£99.99 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Toshiba X300 4 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£87.33 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card (£449.99 @ CCL Computers) Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case (£83.99 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: RIOTORO ENIGMA G2 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£80.47 @ Ebuyer) Monitor: MSI Optix MAG341CQ 34.0" 3440x1440 100 Hz Monitor (£494.05 @ Amazon UK) Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Wired Gaming Keyboard (£129.96 @ Ebuyer) Mouse: Logitech G603 Wireless Optical Mouse (£42.94 @ Box Limited) Total: £2460.78 maybe with a 3700x + 2080 Super instead of 3900x + 2070 Super. I probably wouldn't have the P400A as my case with this kind of budget, I'd get something in the £100-150 range but personally if I was buying a case in that price range, I'd just be waiting for the Phanteks P500 series to come out- which should hopefully be pretty soon since it's just a P600S with a new front panel. |

MrMw209 wrote I was thinking this build is pretty decent but i decided i would swap the case for this one uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/xVbwr...9011139-ww I absolutely wouldn't be buying that. £200+ for a case is insane IMO, and the 500D is essentially a Halo product. Well, actually the 1000D is the Halo, and the 500D is a bit cut down. It's far bigger than you'll ever need. It's just not worth the asking price either IMO. MrMw209 wrote And also swap the monitor as its just a bit to big for me Welp, definitely don't go 1080p. pls. A 34" ultrawide is only going to be as tall as a 27" 16:9 display, although it will obviously be wider. So, if you're not interested in ultrawide, I would look at a 27" 1440p144Hz display, or 4k60Hz. For 4k, either of these are a solid shout; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/ctzkc...-276e8vjsb uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/cWfFf...-27ul600-w 250 squids for a decent IPS, 4k60Hz panel is madness. If you'd prefer high refresh rate; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/qnqhP...7jg50qqnza Cheapest decent option, steal at this price but even spending another 50 quid will help tremendously IMO. uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/LyCD4...32gk650f-b Extra 50 quid, but you gain Freesync and I think the LG monitor might actually be better quality(though the Samsung one is still great). Or for £350, this MSI monitor is absolutely killer; uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/2Gm32...-mag271cqr Really good quality, well-built monitor. |
