I understand that sometimes you don't get what you want, and since you paid for it you want it refunded. I mean, cool, whatever. but when it costs me more to refund than what I got from you in the first place. That's where there should be a line drawn. This shit is stupid.

You wouldn't believe how petty people get. The only exposure I've had to working with the general public when I had to work, was at a tattoo parlour and people would try and nickle and dime the artists' rate. I started telling artists just lower the rate by $3-$5 per hour for those people and they'll shut up. The people who would bitch about a $250 an hour rate, for some reason did not mind paying a $245-$247 hourly rate. People I know who work with the general public through either retail or food service, have told me stories of people who are so damn petty, that you would honestly lose hope in the general population.

If you're providing a service and it's not what you're selling/not up to the standards agreed on, then you should refund the buyer... the buyer should also PM the seller and ask for a refund instead of charging back... 1 dollar...

You should see how petty people are in graphics. I do enjoy watching those who claim they don't like the design and use it with a watermark. I've had 3 refunds this week due do this exact reason: "I don't personally like the design".

1. I showed you step by step progression
2. If you say you like it then, you'll like the final.

I've refunded only a total of £45 for 3 people this week, I've had to for out £3 almost for transfer fees of my own money. Wasted time & to make it worse, I now got to complete another 5 orders in the next 24 hours. That's even if they still want it.

Imagine working for a bank and people knowing that what they do will charge fees; overdraft and insufficient funds (NSF). The bank I work for allows up to three courtesy refunds per 12 month cycle. People will chat/call with 5-6 refunds which require director approval and ask for more. I understand that you screwed up and we charged you $29, but it'ts there for this reason.

The same with falsifying disputes. New federal regulations require most banks to provide provisional credits within a few business days of the claim while it's being investigated, we provide it immediately. People will of course submit fake claims and rack up thousands of dollars before we can reverse the credits. The worst I've seen was $204k within a 65 day period which prompted a felony warrant for their arrest.
