What is a piece of advice you often give but find yourself struggling to follow?

I would say don't let shit bother you and just move on with your day and brush it off. It can be hard even if you say it.

it is my personal belief that we are naturally supposed to persevere no matter what happens as long as you make the decision to not give up things will always get better if you believe they will. Always focus on problems you've overcome and if you're currently dealing with one remember you're choosing to overcome it your always moving forward.

Man!

I love to live by helping others. My mother was the same and still is. She would make sure you had a way to get to work before herself. Would buy you anything she could even if it wasent much. Will do anything for a person.

I live by that same standard.

Recently after I moved out of my parents about 10 months ago, my roommate said to me that I need to get myself before others.

His implementation was I should start doing that. Its hard to focus on yourself when you truly want to just help others even when you cant help yourself.

We all struggle with something. Its all about the process in which you decide to change the outcome. Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes its easier to get over.

No matter your current situation there is always someone going through something worse. So instead of acting and thinking upon negative, reverse that thought process and think of the good,. Think of how the bad didn't occur.

A little much. I like to be specific in my content. Hope this helps.

Example: When I was 19, I was at a red light and a nice ass FR-S pulled up next to me. He looked over at me, I looked at him... We knew off each other looks what we wanted to happen....So when the light turned green, We hauled ass. Little did we both know a state boy was sitting in a hidden spot about a mile up the road. He got pulled and arrested. Not me.... Think of the good. Think of what could have went wrong but didn't for whatever reason. The state boy could have got me instead... Being more humble and having more gratitude towards something can alter the way you perceive things, I promise.

As someone once said to me "accept you're moving forward, everything in life is learning and growing. It's impossible to move backwards".

Everything will get better if it doesn't, give it some more time

Each of us will give advice when others are in trouble, and those simple truths seem to play a big role. But in turn, it's really hard for us to comply, and even when we are in trouble, we need advice from others.

What a contradiction.

I always ask myself and go around thinking "If you were someone else, would you like you?"

My answer is a big fat no, I can be a huge ass sometimes.

But I am working on it so it's not all too bad.
