I am currently on Rebug 4.85 CEX CFW and I tried installing a few Black Ops 1 SPRX menu's but none of them work for me.
I've been putting the EBOOT.BIN in the right folder as well as putting the SPRX in the TMP folder but when I load the game it remains the same. I've tried to do a bit of research on it and I think there is a way but it involves dealing with .ELF files and converting them and it seems a bit over the top complicated. If anyone could help me out it'd be great, thanks! |

Not sure if you know but DEX is more in-depth of a CFW. You can load up more sprx mod menus using a DEX firmware. CEX has many issues like not loading up a menu, I always made sure to search if "the" menu you want to use can support CEX. That's one of my biggest regrets was being on CEX for 4 years (at the time) was not able to use menus that my friends were using. Also on top of that most paid menus are supported by both firmware now, not sure if you were using free menus that could be your issue.
Most BO1 sprx mod menus are outdated now, devs are gone and left the scene as PS3 is dead and boring. You may need t download an updated EBOOT where you can find online somewhere just take your pick. I've had a lot of problems being on CEX using an old game menu, especially on BO1, for me to help you out with this I would highly recommend going to DEX. Firmware is a lot smoother, you can use a lot more menus compared to CEX. |
