Honestly, GTX 1070 is still fine for 1440p60Hz IMO. An RTX 2060 would give you a little performance boost and RTX if you wanted to toy with that. I'd honestly wait another generation for a GPU upgrade though.

I'd probably still do the CPU upgrade, it will be beneficial. If you want though, drop the 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM for now, and put that saved £175ish aside for now towards a GPU upgrade next year maybe.
