Hi everyone,
I'm an old tech dude who knows nothing about the Xbox 360, so I really need your help. I have a family member whose Xbox was damaged when the hard drive was removed and installed into a different Xbox 360. When it was returned to the original console, the games and history were gone. The login account is intact. Can anyone here tell me if that information is recoverable? If so, can you help me with procedure and tools I would need? Thanks! - n - -------------------------- Noam Sain |

Without having it in front of me I'd say it sounds like the person or whoever had the harddrive on the other console deleted them. They didn't delete the account, just the games and the game saves. |

Youre asking if you can recover corrupted data off an Xbox HDD, if I read you correctly.
In short - No. Those files are all damaged. Easiest way to tell is if it still shows the data is taking up space on the HDD but it does not appear anywhere. When my HDD corrupted way back in the day, that's exactly what happened. My account was still there but the games were gone, and the storage was still at the same capacity as if all the games were still on the HDD. Best way to save that HDD is format and move on. |

Only way you can get games and saves back is if you saved them to the cloud or had them backed up on a USB. |
