I would recommend purchasing your own individual parts. It will save you tons of money. If money doesn't matter, then definitely go for a prebuilt, as long as you're aware of EVERY part and know they're not made cheaply. It will save you the stress of learning to build a PC. When it comes to the RAM, it is completely dependent on the motherboard. As long as there are 4 slots for RAM in the motherboard, you should be able to add two more sticks just fine. |

Yeah money isn't the problem just don't have the time to build a system at the moment probably going to go water cooler, graphics card and psu upgrade in the future, but thanks for answering my question |

If you get the same ram sticks you should have no problem they have to be the same speed though.
I have almost the exact pc you ordered (just a different motherboard) just with a 2080 super and I'm only running 16 gb 3200 and have no problems. |

GI330_J wrote just don't have the time to build a system at the moment during a pandemic and a lockdown? tO0t wrote If you get the same ram sticks you will have no problem guaranteed, not necessarily. You could buy 2 different kits of 2x8GB Corsair stuff that looks exactly the same and has the exact same specs, but they just don't play well together. These days, it's usually fine. You want to get something with the same speed and primary timings at least(if possible) but you shouldn't usually have much problem at least booting the system. You're just usually going to be limited by how far you can overclock the RAM when you start mixing and matching kits. The only way you're "guaranteed" that 2 or more DIMMs will work together, is if you buy them in the same pack. |

GI330_J wrote Yeah haha I've literally had to work through this entire pandemic only home Saturday and Sunday's so just wanna turn it on be ready to play. Fair enough. Doesn't take long to put a PC together though, you could easily get it done in a morning. Scan's pre-builts are far less egregious than most others though in fairness, so at least it wasn't some over-priced Alienware or something you bought. |

Yeah I looked round everywhere and that deal popped up and only going to be playing R6 and warzone mainly and watched benchmarks was going to go overkill at first like ryzen 9 and a 2080ti but though i don't really need something like that, but totally get you with the alienware had a laptop in the past and stupid the price you have to pay for a decent spec |

I know the one guy reccomended it but if it's not possible to build it yourself there's site's that can build it for you if you don't mind spending the extra money.
Picking your own part's is most definitely better than some random brand who throws in some defaulty known part's in there just to save the same money. Knowing the parts yourself and being well researched into the pieces will certainly save you enough time and patience in the long run. Hope that helps with some understanding. |
