Did you stud the truck yourself? I am looking to do that soon on mine and was wondering if you had any tips/recommendations or if its worth it to just take it to a shop.

The previous owner had it studded. It was a pretty interesting story tbh and he has all the paperwork to support it. He bought it as a college gift for his kid, the kids blew it up so he got it repaired, then the kids blew it up again so he repaired it again and told his kid that he wasn't ready for a truck lol. When I got it the engine had been rebuilt again less than 2k miles before I got it.

I'm fairly mechanically inclined and I'm sure eventually I could figure it out, however I would rather take it to a shop that specializes in Powerstrokes, or at the very least just a diesel shop. That way you get a little bit of warranty and they know what they're looking at so if they are honest they can tell you what's actually bad.
