I posted this earlier but I still can't seem to sort it out..

I'm trying to unlink my gamertag from my Activision account so I can sell it, but keep my actual gamertag.

I've ran into this issue: whenever I go to click unlink it comes up with this

Well linking a new Xbox account to the same Activision account wont do anything for you. The rank is linked to the Activision account. You would need to do the opposite.

I'd imagine you'd need a fresh Activision account as well. Can't see how only swapping out the gt would reset the rank for you. I could be wrong but logically it ain't add up.

Definitely just need a fresh Activision account, but you could always turn around and sell ur old Activision account

You can unlink it on Activision.com once every 12months or 6 can't remember
