Petite wrote Fable trailer looked insane but there wasn't a whole bunch of content in it sadly, hopefully more from that soon. My guess is because of how much there is coming out and hype in general, they didn't want to "overload" where Fable gets left behind by hype train from other games. I think if The Game Awards is still going on, that would be a perfect place to showcase the new game in further detail. |

TaigaAisaka wrotei know that fable is properly going to release far far later than the games they have shown so it was really like a teaser I just don't want them to do that game an injustice I literally just went through fable 2 again.Petite wrote Fable trailer looked insane but there wasn't a whole bunch of content in it sadly, hopefully more from that soon. |

Lgnd wrote I'm guessing around $500 dollar area. Hopefully they have one with more storage too! $500 would be the best starting point honestly. All consoles sell at a loss profit, because they make up for it in games and subscriptions. The components used for both the Xbox and PlayStation have gotten cheaper to produce and since they're at a PC level now, it encourages users to have a console that can compete with PCs, so a price point of 500, hard to find a PC that will beat that currently. A year or, easily, but right now, that would be a perfect starting point for both consoles. |

Yeah I have played almost the whole Fable series as well. It will be made by a different studio, so I'm pretty anxious about the game doing the series justice. Either way I will probably buy it. I just hope the game doesn't turn out to be a flop, like a lot of sequels have after an initially great first couple of games. |

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as it's been since Fable, that's still Microsoft's baby. Yeah Halo has been racking in the big bucks, but before then, it was Fable. People have been wanting a new Fable game for a while, so while it may be a ways out, I think they're saving for until it gets closer to the game. Sort of like Tales of Arise did back at E3 2018. |

Yeah I'm pretty positive they will release it at 500 USD, although they haven't let themselves commit to a price yet, obviously. Good points. I never really think about the cost of manufacture or the fact that they are selling for a loss? That's crazy how games and subscriptions are what more than make up for it. |

They sell at a loss to lure people in initially, but over time they become cheaper to make, while keeping the same price to the consumer, with maybe one upgrade such as storage, that probably costs like a $10 increase, but they'll charge people maybe $70 extra for it. |

That seems like such a good marketing strategy to me. Never thought about any of this before. I have realized how the "updated" versions are usually significantly more expensive. As far as the manufacturing becoming more cheap, I'm guessing it is simply because it becomes more efficient. They literal spread their costs over a larger amount of the materials needed to make the consoles. |
